Telehealth Disclosure

Dripology Rx operates a telehealth-delivered prescription wellness service in partnership with Orbit Health. This disclosure explains how telehealth works, your rights as a patient, and the limits of what telehealth can do.

1. What is telehealth?

Telehealth means clinical care delivered remotely — through a website intake, a phone or video call, and asynchronous messaging — rather than in person. The clinical decisions affecting you (whether to prescribe, what to prescribe, dose, duration, and follow-up) are made by an independent, state-licensed healthcare provider who is contracted through Orbit Health and licensed in your state of residence.

2. Your provider

Your prescribing provider is an independent professional in the Orbit Health network. They review your intake within 24 hours of submission. For TRT, female hormone therapy, and complex protocols, your provider will require recent bloodwork (which they can order) and a live consultation before issuing a prescription. You can message your provider through your Orbit Health account.

3. What telehealth is not

Telehealth is not appropriate for:

Medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, severe shortness of breath, signs of stroke, severe allergic reaction, or any acute life-threatening condition — call 911 or go to your nearest ER immediately.
In-person physical exams or procedures that require hands-on assessment.
Controlled-substance prescriptions that require DEA-supervised in-person evaluation in your state.
Conditions outside our scope (e.g., active infection, surgical care, oncology, psychiatry). Your provider may refer you to a local clinician.

4. Risks & benefits of telehealth

Benefits: Convenience, access to care from your home, faster prescription turnaround, and continuity of care through messaging.

Risks: A telehealth provider cannot perform a physical exam. Information shared electronically can be intercepted (though we use encryption and HIPAA-compliant systems). Technology can fail. Your provider may need to refer you for in-person care if your case requires it.

5. Privacy & HIPAA

Dripology Rx and Orbit Health operate HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Your health information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to authorized clinical personnel, and access is logged and audited. 6. Compounded medications

Many products dispensed through Dripology Rx are compounded medications, prepared by U.S.-licensed compounding pharmacies under USP standards. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drugs. The provider prescribing your medication has determined the compounded formulation appropriate for your clinical situation. Results vary by individual.

7. Your rights as a patient

You may withdraw consent to telehealth at any time without affecting your right to future care.
You may request a different provider through Orbit Health.
You may file a complaint with your state medical board if you believe your provider acted unethically.
You may request a copy of your records by emailing info@dripology.co.

9. Consent

By using Dripology Rx and submitting a consultation, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this disclosure and consent to receiving care via telehealth.
